RSI Risk Assessment

RSI, otherwise known as Repetitive Stress Injury, can be a debilitating problem that can result in sufferers having to give up work completely. This can have a devastating impact upon individuals, and upon organisations that need to find replacement cover in the short-term, go through the process of recruitment in the long-term, and have to make sure that the new member of staff is fully trained.

RSI is an upper-limb injury caused by continual overuse in an occupational capacity by constantly using the same muscles in the hands, wrists, arms and shoulders, and can affect all of the aforementioned, or just one part of the body. RSI Risk Assessment is an online eLearning course aimed at managers so that they are able to identify those personnel who are at the most risk of RSI.

Managers, and others who are responsible for workforces, will be taught to look for particular criteria that can lead to RSI. These include repetitive movement throughout the working day; poor posture; having to use excessive force; static exertion; the working environment; contact stress, and any medical conditions that a worker may have.

This e-learning course is a short, yet intensive one lasting just 10 minutes. This means that you can easily fit it in to your busy working day, but be confident that you will be able to recognise those who are at the most risk of suffering from this debilitating syndrome so that you can take preventative measures in order to protect your staff and your organisation.

RSI Risk Assessment is offered in English, and has no course prerequisites including any prior qualifications. The licence for the course is valid for a full six months after purchase, and it is available via the Internet (using Internet Explorer 7 or above). Alternatively, you can use your smartphone as long as it supports Android 2.2 or higher.

Please Note: This course should only be viewed on Internet Explorer 7 or above.
