Once you have completed Negotiation Strategies, you will be able to identify the correct person with whom you need to negotiate, and have a successful outcome by opening and concluding the process in the right way; using effective tactics throughout the process; make necessary and appropriate adjustments; use basic psychology and refer to the hierarchy of human needs; be successful when it comes to use passive aggressive negotiators who use negative psychology as a negotiation tactic.

There are only two modules in this 50 minute online elearning course, Strategy Basics and Psychological Strategies, but they cover a lot of ground. Some of the things that you will learn are; ethics in negotiation; the importance of negotiating with the right person; the importance of timing; the tactics of opening a negotiation; how to avoid conceding a negotiation; asking the right questions to establish attitude; changing the package to save the proposal’ telephone negotiation; the relevance of culture and gender; deception strategies; dealing with negotiators; and psychological warfare strategies.
